the process:




acidic sambal cili nasi ayam mixed with the soup

dipping the cannister until the bubles stopped when filled

slow boiling (not to crumple the film due to excessive heat) for 1 minute

the results:

..depending which frame it was within the roll, the effect on the images varies with different amount of film in contact with the liquid..the inner frame would be less effected if not long enough or loose enough to let more liquid to get into..

..the project is towards the end and the occupants being the project workers are busy at the construction site..the place is one year plus since it was completed for occupation..this is the kind of environment they lived for almost a year to complete a project..currently most of the units are empty when people started leaving for other projects and some are leaving for goods to continue their life at their home place..

 ..common bath for men i supposed so what about women..

..did not bother to check how to meter properly, ended with manual metering..based on sunny 16 the adjustment was made first to the shutter speed not to go below 1/30 or rather 1/60..only then starting with 16 then 11 and 8..as much not to go beyond 5.6 even 4 to maintain the hyper-focal..posted here are all the photos as per scan without auto-enhanced in PS Elements 4..

..back alley of a construction site-office between the hoarding and the meeting room etc cabins..the light, the surface, the colour tones of the materials and surfaces look blend and monotonous..

Film processing, chemical and scanner

These two-image pairs were shot using the same body, the same lense and developed in the same chemical and scanned with the same scanner. The only different is type of film they were captured.

i am not cropping the image as originally framed and no need to..the kettle is there full view the pail is there but sharp when i supposed the person and the fan should be but hey it was a manual lense nad the area is quite dark to see the focusing circle or may be not there..i am not sure what is the f like but could be at maximum 2.0 looking at the amount of light available at the time..

...my next project is to try EBS,,exposing bothsides when first the film would be exposed as normal then reversed as redscale..

..i am still contemplating on which lense to use first bearing in-mind the subject for each of them or may be i would try both combinations..first half with 50 as normal then 135 as redscale and second half is the other way around..

..now it is a matter of finding subject for each shot or rather both shots..

..but first i need to read the manual of how to operate the lenses especially the FL lense on the body or both...?AGAIN?..with that red dot what not..
