Raya Qurban or Gerbe in klate
(part 1)

1. Tahun ni sempat balik kampong dengan cuti sekolah bagai.

2. Mula dari Shah Alam dah agak lewat gitu about 9.00am considering school holidays that the traffic might have build-up on the highway.

3. As expected the traffic started to crawl from Sungai Buluh. A mistake by me for not using Guthrie instead, seemed that we could by-pass a bit the jam on North-South highway.

4. Apparently the traffic cleared after Rawang North just because of earlier accident as noticed by the debris on the road.

5. The tarffic started to build-up again and we were suggested to opt out from PLUS hi-way at Bidor interchange.

6. After few kms of smooth ride then the traffic was crawling again until when we reached near to Tapah town that it stood still for a while.

7. The time was 1.00 pm and it was 4 hours already passed by that we had not reached Ipoh yet which normally would take the most is 2 hours.

8. We decided to stop for a while and possible to stay overnight in Tapah town when we saw a big hotel signage on the right-hand side off the junction in-front of the IPD Tapah and nearby Petronas station. We checked that it would take almost 2 hours to reach Cameroon Highland with no hotel based on online checking.

IPD Tapah..they were busy manning the road
until late in the evening..bravo

9. The hotel seemed new located within a new development of shop officesIt was at RM176 per-night with two king size bed enough for 4 of us.

shop lots units around

10. We checked out around 7.30am to comtinue from here to Jeli, Kelantan. The journey was smooth except that for sometimes during hard acceleration around 80km/hr that i could feel some kind of vibration may be to the steering or suspension..need to check it out once in Shah Alam.

1. Went for a khenduri in a place called Kg. Astaka in Batu Kurau in Negeri Perak.

2. We stayed for the night in a home-stay owned by the brother of a famous pendakwah (islamic preacher) Dato' Ustaz Kazim Elias.

3. It is a three-room block and we stayed in Room No. 2. There was nobody else staying during that night.

4. The room is spacious 12'x16' with attached bathroom just like a motel with an individual car porch. The furnishing is sufficient including towels, sejadah and tea making set.

5. The rate is rm80/night.

6. We went to Bandar Taiping in the night. Along the way we saw a few army camps and noticed the Taiping Jail at the junction then Perak Mesueum across the road.

7. In the town, we parked next to the Pejabat Daerah dan Tanah after going around a few time to get familiar with the town.

8. We walked from here along the front and turn into the corner to notice the road had been closed. It was a bazaar where people selling sundries and others offer rental service of the roller-blade and play equipments.

9. The bazaar is called Cross Street Bazar following the name of the original road name which is now called Jalan Alang Ahmad if not mistaken.

1. noticed that eventhough the split image on the focusing screen was aligned in focus but the indication on the lense was not to the right distance.

2. shoot it anyway

3. hahaha..blur blur OOF

4. did the hyper-focal method on the next outing but wrongly developed, the negative came out washed-out.

5. i think the mirror was not fully down and sometime i had to open the lense and tap it to lower it down when it stuck but yet at the right position angle.

6. would try again to use that hyper-focal and follow those distance shown on the lense.
