malaysia flora fest 2007
on 28th january 2007 in putrajaya, the federal administrative city of malaysia...armed with 2 bodies EOS30D and EOS300 with one roll of Fuji200..two lenses i.e 17-40 4L and 28-135...17-40 was mostly on 300 while 28-135 on 30D because shooting from the side and quite a distance to the actual subject..70-200 should then come handy to get more close-up shot...once in a while when u need a wider angle..the lense will be quickly interchanged..at one time 2x extender was used on 28-135 but not much of effective due to slow focusing when u need to be a bit fast to capture the dancing flower girls and moving floats...430EX flash some time used but whether is of use is questionable considering the distance to the subject of about 6-8m away..after all the sun is right behind...was lucky to stand next to the vip stage side..maybe with 2 bodies around your next...waa this guy is serious and nobody bothered all of us...was an enjoyful day out..eventhough hecticly changing iso, speed and aperture as i promise myself not so much onto P..but you sometimes could not help it...frustrated with well over-exposed or under...but hey mostly 80% on M or at-least Tv or Av...enjoy some of the colections here and some more are shared here among those great guys here http://www.velocity-media.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=14458&st=0

...rules of thirds
as you notice all my pictures are almost smack dead centre..so far what i look for is more of overall composition to my likings...or to my style rather than sticking to the rules of third...my early understanding of the rule is on horizontal part only until lately when some more readings and after i got my canon ip4200 where the print set-up will ask u the option...then i realised of the meaning of the rule nine grids...cheers
