our office annual trip..it was supposed to be sort of with family punyo trip tapi ahli2 semo bz33 n x ramai yg ada peluang ngikut, maka kawe g sorang2 je lah..

berdepan dengan warong tu ialah rumah makan ini..tempat kami makan tengahari tu..sambil tu tunggu beberapa orang pemangu pelancong kami g solat jumaat di masjid berdekatan..hairan juga bilo dah dgr azan yet nobody moved..ingatkan nk diajak kami p sama tpi sesedor je depa dah hilang g..kami musafir la kan so excused la kot eventhough niat gak nk dengar khutbah n experience solat jumaat kt tempat luar jauh dari tempat kita but i supposed sama je kot at-least sama dengan yg kami selalu solat jumaat kat sekolah indonesia, jalan tun ismail kt KL ni...

pokok kelapa sawit mula keluar buah

tetiba petang tu masa makan tengahari wan (panggilan kami untuk ibu) bertanya tak nak gi tengok kebun ke..why not..mengapa tidak dalam hati..buleh jugok kata saya dgn loghat kelantan..doh lamo tok jengok sawit kito tu..jale x elok keta saga meli bulih masuk..kereta saga kami yg ditinggalkan kt kg tu..dah ditaliponnya dek dia kt adik kami yg berada di kampung berdekatan dengan kebun ni di jelawang, kuala balah...

luas kebun ni 3 ekar tapi sebahagiannya tanah lembah bahagian berdepn dgn jalan utama jeli-kuala balah-dabong dah kami timbus balik dan tidak ditanam apa2 n may be will be empty for a while just reserved for some kind of house to be built later..anak air kami sediakan culvert secukupnya and so far no flooding or overflow at the up-stream due to chockage ever reported..we have constructed two lines of culvert just in-case one got chocked at-least another one is useable..jalan selamat...

ada dalam 101 pokok yang mula ditanam dalam tahun 2010 kalau tak silap..kna check rekod bayaran kt contractor yg buat terracing dulu..tpi rasa malas la plop..tanaman asal dia adalah getah tetapi memandangkan harga getah yang tidak menentu dgn terciptanya getah tiruan maka getah asli telah kurang permintaan..currently klau tak silap rega dah rm2 lebih perkg compare at one time may be rm7..g menoreh pun pakai kereta masa tu..i m not sure how much is the price of the palm oil fruits at the moment until we started selling them..

so we decided to cut the rubber trees and replace it with palm oil..

ini bunga jantan and bunga betina within one tree..less fruit but u need the male flower..

tikus adalah musuh utama buah kelapa sawit n looked like we have to built some kind of bird nest to attract owl to be around..this is a young fruit..

another musuh ialah babi..this is the track mark used by them..at-least masa pokok ni still small it might caused us problem when dia mula sondol pokok kecik cari umbut or cacing for that matter..to avoid them from getting into the area when we had the perimeter surrounded with electrical wire fence..low-volatage current metal-wound string attached to a battery with transformer enough to jolt anything even human who touched or came in contact with the wire..

next to us the owner chose to plant rubber trees but we never know the price will go up when the trees were matured to be tapped in the next 4-5 years..

it was a long drive from the third round-about of kota kemuning but may be as first time going somewhere you will feel it longer to reach the place..

they called it the ARC..in the upper deck is the park with jogging track what not..i tot it was something like a road or interchange built early and later put to the actual use until we saw the layout and plan..

melako (malacca) trip

it was an ad-hoc trip for me..since x dek orang nk kerja weekend tu kt opis n maknya g dah buat arrangement awal dgn anak2 je since ada gathering kolokium ke apa kt UTEM mako saya n semua anak2 yg masih bercuti, yg cuti sekolah la n yg kerja mmg cuti..lpas anto maknya maka merayau kami 6 beranak ke bandar melaka..setakat a'famosa ke bukit st paul ke tu mmg dah kerap..so kmi target few attractions lain esp muzium..

dari pkol 9 lebih kt UTEM lpas round2 sikit kampus yg belah2 luar dari fakulti teknologi maklumat dan telekomunikasi kmi belah beredar ke bandor melako

berpandukan waze ingat nk senang tpi kkdg kmi berpusing2 jugak  bila kekadang terslah masuk lane wat not..kiro2 sampai awal la jugo..so ingat nk paking tepi jln but nk cari kupon pun satu hal so g parking yg blkang balai polis sebelah samudera ke apa tu setakt rm2 per-entry mmg berbaloi compare dgn 60sen sejam pakai kupon..

terus tuju tepi sungai..lalu nmpak ni hotel iaitu hotel casa del rio..x tahu sgt apa yg istimewa but katanya rate dia sampai ada hingga rm1300/night..mak enko..

ni hotel yg kt warehouse kastam yg kmi singgah esok harinya di cafe dia nama HALIA..asalnya nk minum kopi je tapi langsung lapar terus amek lunch..nice simple innocent design..that goes to the HALIA cafe design itself..tpi sayang i did not take any shot during the lunch just nk makan je n smpat nap while waiting for the food to arrive...

ni ada 3 in 1..old fort wall, the wheel, the hotel but could have been 4 if only there was this river cruise boat..

i noticed this part at the old fort where there was no barrier which could make people fell if not careful..just wonder what is the authority doing when the visitor centre (first pix above n can be seen in the background) was just next to this place..

we then moved in-ward to the familiar n wat not buildings along the road..i think stadthuys..people were coming n piling up the plaza..a family must be from eastern europe looking at the face but bertudung..thought they were local but bilo dgr cakap not our local language..

if only i could do a slow shutter n d sky is blue in the background..it would be perfect..

where the beca@trishaw waited for clients..i never tried n would one day..going around the town..not so sure what is the charge like..

penat berjalan apa kata kita pekena cendol..macam2 perasa ada dari yg biasa, campur even durian..hard rock cafe pun x lupa pergi..lepas ni masa jalan2 kt jonker walk..esok ulang lagi utk emaknya cari benda dia nak yow..

sempat g masjid selat sat..second time here but for solat maghrib only this time..lagi pun sunset tak nmpak bec of thick cloud besides if ada pun it was way far on the left of the building being in december as compare to if u were here in may where the sun would be setting just at the left deck..

lalang is everywhere here at pulau melaka..reclaim island but quite unsuccesful for the time being..

we shot to ikan bakar place right after from masjid selat...the first stop was umbai but the place was seen packed and the cars were not moving at first but actually they were parking by the road side but we turn for another place..we missed only to realise the terapong one when on the way back..only to notice the signboard was so small or we just missed it because of the dark night..we went to serkam instead not to wonder further..lucky unless we would be in muar..

coming back to our hotel from serkam was just another experience..saturday night at 11pm the town was pack with cars..slow moving n missing the junction we had to take another 2.8km to reach our hotel back when it was only about 100m from the last junction..haiyyaa..

second day that sunday mulanya dari taming sari ride to melaka river cruise..no shot ye..
