it has been 33 years after kuala lumpur was declared as federal territory i.e in 1974...followed by labuan and so putrajaya, the new federal administrative city
the morning started at 8.00am with arrival of the pm and vips...then the inspection of honorary guard...followed by the parade of government and semi-government agencies and departments in each federal territory mostly from DBKL being the eldest of all, the residents associations, NGOs, recreation club, cadets, etc...followed by speeches by the federal territory minister and later the prime minister...then the prize giving ceremony to each categories for the parade team presented by the federal territory minister as the prime minister has left earlier..while the VIPs were treated to function in perpustakaan kuala lumpur, the crowd gathered around the permanent stage for a treat of 60s song by the veteran artist with three or four new modern numbers and rock songs..the day ended about 1.30pm
