loooonnnngggg time...
back from the office this evening n saw this white envelope with red content seen thru the envelope window with MBSA logo..alamak apa lagi ni...kena saman apa pula ni...post mark on envelope is 20.3.07...opened it up n it was the receipt for the previous 'cukai pintu' dated 9.10.2006...the bill came to me sometime after 18.9.06 as post marked on the notice...5 months plus for a receipt to be mailed raised somewhat interesting remark..wonder if the MS ISO 9002 got to do with this lonnnngggg period of action...actual shots for u to wonder...

jalan ipoh traffic jam
some of u might have known this..either from star report on 20.3.07 or u have experienced yourself or u just happenned to observe by yourself..like me that our office is on first mile of jalan ipoh...where the road is jam packed from monday 19.3.07 until today n i suspect until forever...for the whole day till may be around 9pm or so...all this because of the closure of lower tier interchanging lane by DBKL below the lrt overhead at the bulatan pahang near to HKL...it is a pity for those people coming from jalan putra in front of PWTC turning into the slip road after the sg gombak bridge toward kompleks udarama and turn in to jalan ipoh...tonight a police patrol car was waiting for people trying to cut into that one way road where even a motorcycle was 'loud speaker'ed not to take the wrong way...i'll post some pix when i got a chance..may be tomorrow night being the friday eve where most of people will rush home at much earlier time for the weekend...
tough luck guys...got to leave early from the office for the site visit....but from what i heard that the lane has been reopened n that explains why there was no jam in front of the office when we were down to go to the mosque for the friday prayer...
29th march 2007...observe the traffic situation below the jln tun razak overhead bridge on jalan ipoh while waiting for the rain to stop..there was a policeman guiding the traffic...now that whoever from bulatan pahang has to use lower on-ground road then u could go straight n joint back jln parlimen..what the snag is that..what is the straight lane now is actually a modification of right turn-only junction..but the modification is crroked where the road kerb is not straight as it is supposed to..n a little bumpy at the location which has created some delay action n not so smooth going thru for these cars...n without a proper signage somewhere could be seen..this will snag the trafic some more...please dbkl..put a little signage projecting from the bridge at may be 20 meters or so from the bridge n please properly straighten the lane n repair the bumpy entry for the sake of jln raja laut traffic turning into jalan ipoh n those coming from jalan putra thru jln 3/64A into jalan ipoh..please n please n please...i also cannot bear working while hearing the horn from all these hopeless drivers..
on the same note n situation..KESAS..please open up another bay of your guardrail so that the turning by the cars is much smoother n become faster into the contra flow lane...

LKM renewal
inspired by http://patrickteoh.blogspot.com/, on his experience with one government deaprtmnet...this is my experience at JPJ padang jawa, klang in getting my LKM..road tax...to make it sounds familiar...got the parking ticket at 8.53am...parking is quite empty...and easy to find a spot..may be still early...some office matter to settle on the phone...walk to the info counter but quickly asked by an indian gentleman on the way on my purpose...i did not notice the tag...told him and politely asked me to proceed to pintu 5...wondering where is the queue ticket machine but none actually where u have to get it from the counter...one person in front of me and i got no A27...told her the space on registration card is filled already..old car..1988 saga ma...first car..but she said it is ok..waitted for my turn from A24...my turn came at counter 43 if not mistaken..cik haslina...nice smile from a beautiful girl..taklah masam gitu..sejuk je nunggu dia key-in the info..may be not many people but hopefully they are all always like that...bravo JPJ...pay my rm70.00...puas juga cari info kat jpj.gov.my on the night before...may be a direct link at 'home' may be useful...even though the page in adobe reader format tagged as 'hot' link...
within one minute i'm out...one round to get out and there are plenty more carpark spaces at the back...within 10 minutes, the charges is free and then rm2 for the next 2-hrs i think...pay my rm2 and chalo..all in within 15 minutes or so plus my time on the phone or otherwise i could have free parking...sorry tak ada gambar macam tokkok punye...

bird photography workshop
held on 4th of march 2007 in bird park kuala lumpur...another sucessful event...glad to be part of it...photo from digital camera malaysia velocity media forum...

the last two are listed in top 10 but there was only one prize that day..was happy though to make the cut...the last one is my own photo of the day..diagonal composition, white against dark..slightly greenish background and woooshh the eye color..n the bright red n yellow as the highlight against the clean feathery white

hot fm big jam 2007
armed with 2 bodies...400d with 17-40f/4L and 30d with 70-200f/4L...given the wish of my kids and testing ground for the new tele n body..and being never shot a concert per say...expected the road will be full of cars, we went n park at the opposite side of the concert venue even first thought of parking next to the sirim building...lucky then that i had the opportunity to see wisma mbsa from the new point..rather than the common frontal view...
this is the progression of the walk to the stage area...
the ever photograph blue mosque with the lake in foreground..the weather is cloudy so the sky is gloomy a bit
halfway thru while going up-hill, these steps and the office building has led my eyes to capture it...a bit sloppy being not to have all the steps in full view...yep..still training...
trying to look for the view that all 4 minarets can be seen is not that easy..this one is close but the trees has obstructed the left side by then..
further up...this bright red bougenvilla flower just shine against the cool blue n grey mbsa tower...i could not smack the building right off centre as this would make the flower will be out of the frame
and then saw this pillars just straight up with blue n green strip on anyone of them, quickly asked my three daughters to hide n seek in between them without asking to be cheerful mode then..yeh..they r happy to come n to see the artist performing then
finally we reached the venue..and see this waiting crowd and the rain is starting to come..nice change of colour from blue, white n grey to colourful athmosphere..see the blue dome..that was where i shot most the pix..say 98%...the front stage was too crowded...but with big gun in hand, most people will give-way..proven when i was coming down to go back..a bit on the photo that the frame should be slightly to the left for full view of the roof n building and full view of the top of the tower
while walking to the pkns complex to settle some bills from here..did not realize that farra fauzana is on the way to the backstage..not much could be captured as she was ushered to the front by the ever serving bodyguard

rantau panjang trail - 20.2.2007
most of us have ever been to rantau panjang..me myself, even not a person who like to go in a crowded place...been to this place sooo many times...the most exciting part for me is to see some of the kapchai that r yet in malaysia or u have not seen it in malaysia at all...
not to mention pick-up truck...
most of the time when we went there the place is jam packed..of course it was normally when we balik kampong n the rest of people are also balik kampong until..until on 20/2/07 when we went again there bringing my brother n his wife looking for some tudung with my mother...soft colours
the place is clear..i supposed most of the folks were on the road on the way back to city again plus may be as many as during hari-raya..
see how the lane between the shops...how clear n almost non except us
we had so much freedom moving around and earler found an out of order carpark meter...so not so much worrying of expiry parking meter

on d way back...we stopped at the custom n immigration check point in bukit bunga...this is where the would be a new bridge connecting the kelantan side and buketa...crossing the shallow sungai golok...so much has been completed on malaysia side but non on the thai side so far that i could see..the earth working platform has been extended halfway into the river till the midway of the river meeting the common contry boundary..this has helped the people living along the border to cross easily..saving the trouble of crossing the water by half..what so funny is that the men will take out their trousers leaving the underwear and started to cross the river until they reach the other side and put the trousers back..i did not have the photo of the man but look at this mak cik crossing...n the guy is ready to take off the trousers n cross over
