it had been a while since i last utilised the 1dmk4 body
this was the equipment set-up during last weekend race, minus the air-cond remote control and mini screw-drivers set:
ricoh gxr with p10 module
canon EOS 1dmk4
70-200 f2.8 nonIS
100-400 f3.5-5.6 IS + 1.4x extender

the lap indicator at the finish/start line made it easy for you to prepare yourself to be at selected spots for your angles - it kept away guessing game when were the race is finishing but you could time yourself to be at different location for for different angle and view

the announcement kept mentioning 'see you next week' after every medal giving ceremony and would there be another session is yet to be checked out
